Every part of nature has its own way of helping the environment.

plantSketchEverything is connected in some way. The sunlight, rain, and soil cause the trees to grow. The trees make fruits and seeds for the animals to eat. The trees also give shelter to animals and people. Fungi in the soil help decompose fallen leaves and branches, which helps feed the trees by giving them nutrients. Animals may plant the seeds of the trees, so that new trees can grow.

Everything plays a part, and everything benefits in the long run. If you study any part of nature long enough, you will find a way that it helps the rest of the world. There are lots of ways that you, too, can help wildlife, people and the earth.

If you are doing something to help Wildlife, People and the Earth, please share your experience with the other Wildlife Kids Club members. Email your story along with one to four photos that show what you did. We will choose a few to put here on this page each month for everyone to see. Email us at Projects@WildlifeKidsClub.org
